Mad About Mid Century Modern Figure

This month’s round up of all the wonderful places you can go to spend a pretty penny on  fabulous mid century stuff.

Sunday 6th March, Leeds & Sunday 13th March, Manchester

VINTAGE HOME SHOWS

11am -4pm
Entrance £2.50 for the Leeds show; £3 for Manchester.
Both shows will showcase a combination of high quality Mid-Century designed furniture, ceramics, textiles, lighting and art alongside a more mass market collection of retro and kitsch household items from the 1930’s through to the 1970’s.

Sat & Sun, 12th and 13th March, Bedruthan, Cornwall

MID CENTURY AND VINTAGE FAIR

Sat 10am-5pm, Sun 10am-4pm

Free entry.

The Bedruthan Midcentury and Vintage Fair is back with a Pop-Up Vintage Tea Room, lots of midcentury and retro furniture stalls and all the antiques, collectables, handmade vintage inspired prettiness, fashion and beauty your little heart desires.

Sunday 13 March 2016, East London

MIDCENTURY SHOW EAST

10am – 4pm

Entrance £10 on the day from 10am; Advance tickets, £9, online only.

One of the best aspects of this particular show is that you get to snoop around the Erno Goldfinger designed Haggerston School. Lots of aesthetic use of concrete which was the first of its kind in the UK.

There will be lots of mid century modern furniture here. Its the best show of its kind.

Sunday 20th March 2016

EAST LONDON VINTAGE FURNITURE FLEA

10:30 am – 4:30 pm

Entry £2.

Voted ‘BEST FAIR’ by the Vintage Guide to London & the go-to place for the old-world home. A little more affordable than some strictly mid century shows this veers towards general retro/vintage but you never know what you may find…
