Le Corbusier Style LC2 Armchair - Mad About Mid Century Modern

Le Corbusier Style LC2 Armchair

Mad About Mid Century Modern FigureI only sit in my “Petit Confort” when wearing a silk evening gown with a glass of Martini in one hand and a cigarette holder in the other. But feel free to wear your sweatpants if you must.

Le Corbusier Style LC2 Armchair

Created in 1928 by a team led by master architect Le Corbusier, the LC2 armchair was conceived as a modernist take on the traditional club chair. An insight into their thinking can be seen by the name that he gave this style – cushion baskets – and the LC2 does consist of several cushions carefully arranged in a stainless steel frame. In addition, Le Corbusier gave the LC2 another description – petit confort – and it is indeed a very comfortable place in which to wile away an hour. Or several.

We also offer a matching LC2 sofa for the perfect ensemble, whether in home or office. Both are made to exacting standards with fine Italian leather and a highly polished stainless steel frame.

Dimensions: W76cm x D70cm x H68cm
