Le Corbusier Style LC2 Armchair
Created in 1928 by a team led by master architect Le Corbusier, the LC2 armchair was conceived as a modernist take on the traditional club chair. An insight into their thinking can be seen by the name that he gave this style – cushion baskets – and the LC2 does consist of several cushions carefully arranged in a stainless steel frame. In addition, Le Corbusier gave the LC2 another description – petit confort – and it is indeed a very comfortable place in which to wile away an hour. Or several.
We also offer a matching LC2 sofa for the perfect ensemble, whether in home or office. Both are made to exacting standards with fine Italian leather and a highly polished stainless steel frame.
